INDEPENDENTLY ARRANGED ACCOMMODATION IN PLETTENBERG BAY AND THE CRAGS
The cost of accommodation AND transport is not included in the race entry. Riders may book their own accommodation or contact the recommended independent suppliers provided below. All race venues are located within 20 kilometers of each other so riders can easily book one place to stay and self-drive to the venues daily. There is also great accommodation close to each venue if you would prefer to book into different accommodation close to the race villages on each day.
PROTEA WILDS HOTEL

6 Self-catering en-suite, studio units suited to two adults (some can accommodate an extra child) each with fully equipped kitchen facilities, and a dining table inside and outside on the deck. Perfect for groups! Situated just off the units are the Fynbosskerm (large communal area). Here you will find the pool deck, lounge and dining area (both with fireplaces to stay warm in winter). Another big kitchen, fully equipped with gas burners, electric stove and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc, makes catering a breeze. Topping it all off with a braai lapa with seating and shade.

Crags Country Lodge
This beautiful unspoilt forest is a haven for plant, bird and animal life. Many evenings the local wildlife such as bush pig, bush buck and occasionally porcupine are within meters of the lodge. An established walking trail, down to Whiskey Creek, allows for viewing of the Garden Routes famous Knysna Lourie and other beautiful indigenous birds. Or simply observe them from our beautiful deck whilst sipping a cocktail.

greenfern lodge & chalets
Come and get into the spirit of the Dr Evil Classic at Greenfern Lodge & Chalets which is situated only 11km from Cairnbrogie.
Greenfern Lodge is surrounded by the Indigenous Forest and Pine Plantations where you’ll be surrounded by birdsong, stars, and the tranquillity of nature. All our accommodation is Self-Catering and well equipped for your comfort.
The Lodge, which we rent as a unit, can accommodate up to 14 guests in 6 ensuite bedrooms. The lodge also boasts with a fire pit for braaiing, a swimming pool in which to cool off, and an indoor fireplace for chilly evenings.
Each of the 5 Chalets, which are also rented as individual units can accommodate up to 4 guests and consist of an ensuite bedroom with a Queen size bed, an open plan lounge with a single daybed and spare mattress, a kitchenette and braai.
