How do I enter?

ONLY 350 riders will be allowed to ride in 2023. In order to enter online, you will need a valid credit card. If you do not have a credit card and would like to enter manually please email zandile@drevilclassic.com – you will avoid the online entry administration fee if you enter manually.

What are the entry fees?

The entry fee is R5100.00 for a SOLO rider and R10200.00 per team.

The entry includes delicious catered LUNCHES on Thursday 21st, Friday 22nd AND Saturday 23rd.
There will also be a vegetarian dish option available and all meals will be prepared by a professional local catering company. There will be coffee / tea and snacks available at the venues before the start but riders are encouraged to eat breakfast at their accommodation before coming to the venue this year.

What is the minimum age to enter?

Elite (Racing license riders) – 19 years old by the 31st December 2023.
 Fun Riders – 19 years old by the 31st December 2023.

Where do I collect my race number?

There will be a registration on Wednesday, the 20th of September and again on Thursday morning the 21st of September. Please see the Daily Schedule that will be online for details.

Who can enter?

Anybody who is over the minimum age of the event – the rider will need to have turned 19 by the end of the 31st December 2023. Clearly you need to be able to ride a bicycle and have trained and be moderately fit to participate. If you are unsure of your fitness levels or medical status, please visit your doctor first.

DOES ENTRY TO THE DR EVIL GIVE ME AN AUTOMATIC ENTRY TO THE KAROO TO COAST?

As the Dr Evil Classic and the Karoo to Coast are separate events, you will have to enter both events separately.

However all Dr Evil Riders will be automatically bumped up to the top 4 of 10 start groups for the 2023 Karoo to Coast.
