Cairnbrogie Mountain Bike & Trail Park is situated on the Plett Airport Road in the ecologically sensitive twenty kilometre stretch of unspoiled coastline between Robberg Nature Reserve and Harkerville State Forest. This area is known as the Robberg Coastal Corridor (RCC) and has beautiful coastal land and it links the Robberg Nature Reserve in the east to the Garden Route National Park in the west.

In 2015 a Mountain Bike & Trail Park was built on the farm in association with DirtLab, an industry leader in the construction and design of pumptracks and trails, adding to the this superb biking destination.

DAY 3 – Stage 3 ROUTE INFORMATION

DISTANCE : 40 km
ELEVATION :
+706 m / -679 m

The last day of the Dr Evil classic is the day that you have been waiting for and it is a true day of ultimate mountain biking. You start off with circumnavigating the Cairnbrogie dairy farm, hugging along the protected corridor of fynbos and sea views. Riders will then exit the farm to head into MTO Trails where we start with beautiful views on the Cliff hanger and then head up the Crawler. Thereafter riders will descend and climb up, trail after trail in the beautiful pine forest. Erik Klootwyk who has assisted the MTO Trails team on some of the build comments: “This is 40km of the best single track and views you can ever imagine.” These trails have been built by Sponsors on MTO property and with their team.
